Greenhawks is a club in Wells which is an eco-friendly club focusing on developing healthy habits and reducing and recycling plastic waste. Greenhawks has a persistent service going on for years where there are boxes placed in all classrooms in the school, where teachers and students are requested to dispose of their plastic and paper waste which is recyclable. At the end of every week, Greenhawks would collect those boxes and empty them and then place them back in the room. All the garbage is later separated and sent to recycling centers that Greenhawks is associated with. I have been committed to Greenhawks since grade 10. I have been regularly participating in this weekly service of Greenhawks every Tuesday after school. This continuous service makes a small contribution to helping the global issues in the world. This activity spreads awareness around the school about being mindful about where to place your used trash and about recycling waste.
